प्रसून जोशी (Prasoon Joshi) की मां सुषमा जोशी राजनीति विज्ञान (Political Science) की लेक्चरर थीं. उन्होंने तीन दशकों से भी ज्यादा समय तक ऑल इंडिया रेडियो के साथ काम किया था. इसके अलावा वह एक शास्त्रीय गायिका (classical singer) भी थीं. बॉलीवुड की कई हस्तियां और करीबी प्रसून और उनके परिवार को सांत्वना दे रहे हैं.

WASHINGTON — Eight Republican lawmakers attended a White House briefing Monday about explosive allegations that Russia secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing American troops in Afghanistan — intelligence the president himself was said to have not been fully read in on. Members of Congress in both parties called for additional information and consequences for Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, even as White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany insisted President Donald Trump had not been briefed on the findings because they hadn’t been verified.
